Recycled Metal Rain Chime - 7 Bells

Charming handmade rain chime with 7 graduated bells that ring in a variety of soft, harmonic tones with the rain or wind.

Each chime set is crafted by a single family in western India using recycled steel and bronze. Each bell is hammered into shape, dipped in copper, padded with clay, then buried under hot desert sand in a kiln. After firing, the clay is chiseled off. Finally, the maker hand-tunes each bell. This age-old technique of metal-work is what gives each piece its unique patina and tone.
