In this class, we'll use (your choice of) sterling silver or 14kt gold-filled accents to craft a necklace of gemstones. You can choose to make your necklace anywhere from 16" to 34" filled to the very brim with genuine semiprecious stones. You'll walk away with a new heirloom-quality necklace AND the knowledge of how to more them in the future!
This class is more relaxed than our oil painting classes, and will be limited to only 10 seats per class. We will have wine and refreshments. Grab your girlfriends and make an evening of it!

This class is taught by local artist and Amidst the Alders shop owner, Kayla DeVito. Kayla's husband, Matt, will also be lending a hand to aid in assistance or answer questions.
All necessary materials will be provided, and you'll have a wide assortment of stones to choose from to craft a necklace that is totally unique to you.
At the end of every class, each student will receive a detailed supply list with references, as well as a coupon to use at Amidst the Alders.

Kayla DeVito is an experienced artist who founded her own successful wholesale jewelry company at age 23. Her handcrafted line was eventually sold in over 100 retailers nationwide. These days, her jewelry can be found at Amidst the Alders, where she also teaches classes on how she crafts her gemstone creations.
